WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Smiley Transportation is seeking applicants that are computer literate, professional and have excellent people skills.  A great applicant needs to be able to think outside of the box and be able to manage a route of about 10 students at a time per school.  Someone that can do the daily tasks, but also understand and want to advance with this family owned company.  Our ideal team member will represent our core values of humility, respect, passion and has a drive to want to be the best.  They should have the desire to put our clients first.

Successful Employees must be able to meet all of the following requirements:

• Be able to work a split shift work schedule.  Routes are split shift (6am to 8:45am then  2pm to 5:45pm) Monday through Friday.  Nights, weekends and school holidays off. 
• Must want to work and be dependable
• Must have a cell phone
• Must be 23 years of age or older (commercial insurance requirement)
• Must have a reliable means of transportation to and from work
• Must have a Texas Drivers License
• Must have a clean driving record for the last three years. (driving records are ran yearly for insurance)
• Must be able to pass a local, state and federal background checks. 
• Must pass a drug screen test 
• Must be CPR, First Aid, Blood-borne pathogen, and Epi-pen certified with in 30 days of employment.
• Must not have any gaps in work history for the past 5 years (stay home parent or self-employed is not considered gaps)
• Must like working with children from the ages of 4 to 18, special need students/adults and senior citizen adults.
